Where can I find my wifi information?

There are three ways to find this information;

  • From your Internet Service Provider (ISP):
    The best and fastest way to retrieve your "wireless" info is by contacting the company that provides your internet service. They have remote access to your router and can find the SSID/network name, password/key, as well as the security type used by your router.
  • From your Internet Service Provider (ISP) service setup documentation:
    The documentation provided by your ISP at the time when your internet service was initially setup, will contain your SSID/network name, password/key, as well as the security type being used by your router.
  • From your router's wireless settings:
    if you know your router's login credentials, simply login and check under "wireless" settings to find the SSID/network name, password/key, as well as the security type being used by your router.
